Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) for manufacturing operations.
  • Establish and enforce quality control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to assess product quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Lead investigations and root cause analysis for non-conforming products or processes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Manage and develop a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
  • Develop and implement training programs for manufacturing personnel on quality standards and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product quality, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to manufacturing operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality assurance principles.
  • Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving quality improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.
