Position: Project Sales Manager – Western Pacific Region

Job Objective:

The primary aim of this role is to formulate sales budgets, execute strategic sales initiatives, propose sales tactics to stakeholders, and nurture customer relationships to foster sales growth and broaden the customer base.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop annual project order intake budgets for the designated territory.
  • Meet or surpass the annual project order intake budgets for the assigned region.
  • Assist the Vice President of Projects in crafting a long-term business strategy to ensure sustained growth over a 3-5 year horizon within the specified territory.
  • Advocate for the utilization of Severn Connect as a CRM tool and oversee data entry by the sales team.
  • Evaluate and enhance order forecasts compared to actual orders received on a monthly basis for the designated territory.
  • Analyze and improve the quotation conversion rate for the specified region.
  • Provide a weekly business update report regarding projects to the Vice President of Projects.
  • Engage in Market Intelligence Calls with the Vice President of Projects.
  • Continuously assess and monitor the quality of agents and representatives within the designated territory.
  • Lead the global projects team in securing strategic large projects within the territory.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess an Engineering Degree and have a solid background in technical sales related to similar products. A comprehensive understanding of product knowledge and technical skills, along with extensive experience in a commercial environment, is highly desirable. This includes the ability to conduct research, compile reports, manage documentation, and address inquiries from external stakeholders.

Exceptional communication skills are essential, enabling effective interaction with all stakeholders while managing inquiries in a confident, professional, and competent manner.
