The Position
We are seeking an experienced Jr. Machine Builder/Pipefitter with a strong mechanical background. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in pipe fitting and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead machine builder/pipfitter in assembly of hydraulic & mechanical test equipment
- Form and fasten piping, fixtures, and attachments required to service machine with air, water, and oil
- May install wiring and electrical components to specifications
- Perform all duties in a safe and professional manner
- Fits and assembles components according to assembly schematics, manuals, and knowledge of machine construction
- Analyze assembly schematics and specifications manual and plan machine building operations
- Verify conformance of parts to stock list and drawings
- Lay out hole locations and drill and tap holes on parts for assembly
- Align components for assembly using hand tools, rivet gun, and welding equipment
- Participate in the teardown and packaging of test equipment prior to shipment
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $50,000 - $70,000 per year.
