Welding Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at Workbox Staffing in Wixom, MI. This is a temporary-to-hire position offering a competitive salary of $18/hour.

This role involves working with an automated welding machine to fabricate pipe according to customer specifications. The successful candidate will have experience operating fabrication shop machinery and equipment, as well as reading mechanical drawings to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.

• Operate automated welding machines to produce high-quality welds.
• Read technical drawings to determine machine settings and material needs.
• Maintain accurate records of production and quality control.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A strong background in mechanical drawing and fabrication is essential for success in this role.
