Pediatric Trauma Care Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Trauma Care Professional to join our team at Boston Children's Hospital. As a Matron, you will play a key role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with care providers and interdisciplinary team members during daily rounds to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Facilitate patient and family education, as well as multidisciplinary team education, to promote best practices in pediatric trauma care.
- Contribute to the ongoing education and professional development of nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers in the area of pediatric trauma.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years inpatient pediatric experience, with surgical or critical care experience preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work 25 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that includes day shifts only.
