Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Trauma Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Boston Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Trauma Center, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with care providers and interdisciplinary team members during daily rounds
* Manage assigned patients throughout the day
* Participate in development and implementation of patient care plans
* Obtain relevant history and perform physical exams
* Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests
* Coordinate care of multiple consult services
* Participate in ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives
* Facilitate patient/family and multidisciplinary team education
* Contribute to ongoing education and professional development of nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
* Respond to outpatient calls from families as needed

Requirements:

* Minimum of 2 years inpatient pediatric experience, surgical or critical care experience preferred
* 1+ year of Pediatric NP experience preferred
* Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) certification
* Master's degree with current NP license
