Job Summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled Pediatric Trauma Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with care providers and interdisciplinary team members during daily rounds
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans with attending physicians and other healthcare team members
  • Obtain relevant patient history and perform physical exams as indicated
  • Coordinate care for multiple consult services for multi-system trauma patients
  • Participate in ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives, as well as facilitate patient and family education
  • Active participation in department meetings and hospital committees

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years inpatient pediatric experience, with surgical or critical care experience preferred
  • Will consider new graduate NP with recent pediatric inpatient surgical or critical care RN experience
  • Sign-on bonus of $3,125.00 for part-time (25 hours) NP hires (who have not worked at BCH in the past 2 years)
