About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our Anesthesia Department. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in monitoring anesthesia for both critical and non-critical cases.

Qualifications:

  • Current CVT/LVT/RVT or equivalent educational background is preferred.

Work Schedule:

Midshift: Wednesday through Saturday, 2 PM - 12 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of small animal medicine, including pharmacology, proper restraint techniques, venipuncture, and laboratory testing.
  • In-depth understanding of medical terminology, medications, and disease processes.
  • Expertise in anesthesia induction, monitoring, troubleshooting, and patient recovery.
  • Collaboration with board-certified Anesthesiologists.
  • Radiograph positioning and capture.
  • Effective communication with clients and team members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong attention to detail and a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Application of Fear Free handling techniques to ensure safe and stress-free interactions.
