We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates, a state-of-the-art specialty, emergency, and critical care hospital in our region.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing top-notch care to pets and their families. As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for assisting veterinarians with medical procedures, administering medications, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including anesthesia and surgery
  • Administer medications and perform various treatments
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and provide critical care
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development
Requirements
  • Current CVT/LVT/RVT certification or educational equivalent
  • At least two years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine
  • Strong knowledge of basic small animal medicine and medical terminology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software
