  • Perform additional pipeline-related tasks as directed by the Operations Supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Technical degree or a minimum of 2 years of relevant field experience.
  • General knowledge of pipeline operations and hands-on experience with medium voltage equipment up to 4,160 Vac.
  • Preferred: State electrician license, along with knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical training.
  • Familiarity with basic NEC code requirements and specifications pertinent to pipeline operations, as well as applicable governmental regulations.
  • Proficient with standard electrical tools and testing equipment, including meters, meggers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, perform load studies, and execute related calculations.
  • Capable of completing Haz-Mat training, safety programs, and meeting minimum DOT qualifications, as well as obtaining any additional Operator Qualifications as required by the Operations Supervisor.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals both inside and outside the organization.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license for operating company vehicles.
  • Occasionally required to lift or carry moderately heavy equipment or components and position them during maintenance tasks. May need to work in confined spaces and navigate various terrains.
  • Frequently exposed to outdoor conditions with temperature extremes, often near high voltage and/or hazardous materials, necessitating appropriate safety gear.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of background checks and reference verifications.
  • Adherence to the Company's drug and alcohol policy, including pre-employment testing.
