Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician/Laborer to join our facilities team at Westinghouse Electric Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain forklifts, work vehicles, and other equipment to support facility operations.
- Perform routine maintenance activities, including minor repairs, and ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
- Distribute supplies and equipment throughout the facility, and perform debris and litter removal tasks.
- Utilize mechanical and electrical tools to perform tasks, and ensure that all tools are properly maintained and stored.
- Assist with room set-ups, furniture moves, and cubicle assembly.
- Perform safety inspections on fire extinguishers and eye wash stations, and ensure that all safety equipment is in good working condition.
- Deliver totes and relocate personnel between offices, and assist with deliveries and fueling of generators and equipment.
- Assemble chairs and desks, and power wash asphalt or concrete surfaces.
- Hang signs, and perform ice machine maintenance and filter changes.
- Escort vendors on site performing work evolutions, and ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- High School or equivalent education preferred.
- 2+ years of laborer experience preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
- Must be 18 years old to apply.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6am-3:30pm, or Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm with Friday off.
