\t* Prepare reagents accurately and record experimental results in both written and electronic formats
\t* Conduct literature searches and retrieve relevant articles
\t* Present findings related to progress at regular lab meetings
\t* Prepare and plot data for quantitative and statistical analysis
\t* Ensure the day-to-day needs of the lab
\t* Plan, develop, organize, and implement policies, procedures, and standards for lab operations
\t* Manage laboratory budgets from industry and NIH funded grants

\t* 1-5 years of experience in microbiology

\t* Experience in microbiological laboratory techniques, with a strong emphasis on molecular microbiology and expertise in handling and culturing challenging bacterial species
\t* Ability to work with mice and manage and maintain mouse colonies for research studies
\t* Previous experience with clinical samples
\t* Highly effective communicator as both a temporary employee supervisor and as a team member
\t* Advanced computer knowledge including MS Word, MS Excel, Endnote/Mendley, and database management
