Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at the Stow Health and Wellness Center. As a CT/Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Administer contrast materials and prepare patients for CT exams.
  • Assess patients' clinical history and adjust techniques and protocols on equipment to correspond to patient habitus and pathology.
  • Research lab values for patients and inject contrast under the direction of a radiologist as required.
  • Perform exams and transfer results from the CT console to the Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS).
  • Observe patients constantly and respond to any adverse reactions to ensure safety.
  • Work with referring physicians to ensure the correct exam is ordered and performed for the patient.
  • Oversee maintenance of equipment to ensure full calibration and complete functioning.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists.
  • Current license by the State of Ohio as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Required within 18 months of hire/transfer: registration in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of CT experience.
  • Two years of experience in diagnostic radiology in order to be eligible for on-site training in CT scanning.
Physical Requirements

Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
