Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a skilled Radiology CT Technologist to join our team at the Stow Health and Wellness Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans to aid in diagnosing disease or injury
  • Prepare and educate patients for CT exams
  • Assess patient's clinical history and adjust techniques and protocols as needed
  • Research lab values and inject contrast under the direction of a Radiologist as required
  • Transfer results from the CT console to the Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS)
  • Observe patients constantly and respond to any adverse reactions to ensure safety
  • Work with referring physicians to ensure the correct exam is ordered and performed for the patient
  • Oversee maintenance of equipment to ensure full calibration and complete functioning
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists
  • Current license by the State of Ohio as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of CT experience
  • Two years of experience in diagnostic radiology in order to be eligible for on-site training in CT scanning
