Job Overview

Azure Summit Technology is a leading provider of advanced electronic systems for the Department of Defense and other customers. We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in Fairfax, VA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Facility Manager in all aspects of facilities management, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Facility Manager in the day-to-day operation of the facilities
  • Maintain facility appearance standards
  • Complete basic facility tasks, including light electrical, plumbing, and door work
  • Perform grounds inspections and repairs
  • Conduct daily HVAC equipment and BMS checks
  • Escort service providers and other visitors as needed
  • Communicate with building representatives as needed
  • Supervise vendors and assist with calibration of equipment
  • Identify and report any safety hazards

Requirements:

  • US citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance
  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 2 years of facilities maintenance experience
