Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing radiography procedures and evaluating radiographs for technical quality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic procedures as required, achieving a high level of film quality.
- Observe for film artifacts and minimize their occurrence, cleaning cassettes as necessary.
- Document procedures upon completion, including stat reads according to departmental policies.
- Obtain patient history as needed and assist radiologists during procedures to ensure patient comfort.
- Advise supervisors of any necessary items from the storeroom or vendors.
- Demonstrate ability to shut down radiologic equipment and/or reboot computers.
- Education: High School Graduate (or GED) Required. Graduate from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
- Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations Required:
- ARRT (R) or registry eligible.
- Certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services MRT program.
- Current BLS certification.
