Job Summary

Intrepid USA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Research Analyst to join our team in the National Capitol Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing data science-rooted analysis in support of the Army's annual POM development and defense. This includes developing digital applications and analyses using modern programming languages and data visualization tools in support of POM planning, POM build, and Program budget review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing data science-rooted analysis in support of the Army's annual POM development and defense
  • Developing digital applications and analyses using modern programming languages and data visualization tools
  • Serving as the senior team data scientist providing responsive and independent analysis to inform, influence, and synchronize requirements, data, and programming for the development of the Program Objective Memorandum
  • Developing data science applications that address specific organizational needs, such as improving insights into programs, optimizing operations within the directorate, or enhancing decision-making processes
Requirements
  • An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain
  • A master's degree in a non-STEM field and 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Programming experience in R or Python with a specific emphasis on data analysis frameworks (Pandas, NumPy, Tidyverse)
  • Programming experience in data visualization frameworks (Shiny, Streamlit, Dash, Plotly, ggplot2) and SQL databases (Postgres, Oracle)
