This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team as an Ammonia Refrigeration Specialist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our ammonia refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems, including boilers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, compressors, condensers, and electrical systems.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain all engine room and other equipment to ensure smooth production operations and safe equipment operation.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop, update, and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Waste Water Management: Monitor BOD and pH levels in waste water and evaluate existing procedures to optimize waste water treatment.
  • Sustainability: Develop a proposal for a sustainability policy and maintain updates to ensure compliance.
  • PSM & RMP Program: Ensure compliance with PSM & RMP regulations and maintain documentation.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate leadership in implementing and supporting a safety-focused culture and lead employee training and development.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration systems maintenance and repair.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license and all required licenses and certifications from federal and state agencies.
