**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Solder Assembler - Level I to join our team at GTN Technical Staffing. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of production assembly and test operations on electronic components and subassemblies.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform skilled hand soldering of various wire sizes to electrical components per applicable work instructions, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
  • Pass regular soldering certification tests to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Meet or exceed established standards for production efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a high level of quality and minimize discrepant work.

**Requirements:**

  • ITAR compliance is required.
  • JSTD001 Certified (JPC Specialist) for solder Iron personnel.
  • Ability to train others per JSTD001.
  • Strong reading and interpretation skills for documents, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Adequate manual dexterity to safely and proficiently work with simple hand tools.
  • Ability to work from samples or simple visual aids.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

**Experience and Education:**

  • 6 months prior soldering experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
