Electromechanical Assembly Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Specialist to join our team. As an Electromechanical Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and calibrating complex electromechanical systems. You will work with a variety of hand tools and soldering equipment to assemble components accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, test, and calibrate complex electromechanical systems
  • Utilize hand tools and soldering equipment to assemble components accurately and efficiently
  • Perform soldering tasks in compliance with J-STD-001 Wiring/Soldering Certification standards
  • Use a contact welder to assemble and repair components as required
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure all components meet our high-quality standards
  • Prototype and test new designs, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements
  • Troubleshoot and repair defective units returned by customers
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical or vocational training in electromechanical assembly or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an electromechanical assembly role.
  • J-STD-001 Wiring/Soldering Certification or equivalent experience is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with hand tools and soldering equipment.
  • Experience with a contact welder is a plus.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience with calibration, prototyping, and testing of electromechanical systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
