Electromechanical Assembly Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Specialist to join our team. As an Electromechanical Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and calibrating complex electromechanical systems. You will work with a variety of hand tools and soldering equipment to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, test, and calibrate complex electromechanical systems
- Utilize hand tools and soldering equipment to assemble components accurately and efficiently
- Perform soldering tasks in compliance with J-STD-001 Wiring/Soldering Certification standards
- Use a contact welder to assemble and repair components as required
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure all components meet our high-quality standards
- Prototype and test new designs, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements
- Troubleshoot and repair defective units returned by customers
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals
- Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical or vocational training in electromechanical assembly or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an electromechanical assembly role.
- J-STD-001 Wiring/Soldering Certification or equivalent experience is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with hand tools and soldering equipment.
- Experience with a contact welder is a plus.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with calibration, prototyping, and testing of electromechanical systems.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
