We are seeking a highly skilled Ceramic Core Technician to join our team at CPP Euclid, an investment casting foundry specializing in complex aerospace and gas turbine components. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and assessing ceramic cores used in CPP Euclid operations, ensuring they meet the required specifications. This involves working with core vendors to resolve quality issues and collaborating with engineering and quality departments to address any problems that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect ceramic cores using gauging and standard measurement inspection tools to ensure compliance with CPP standards.
  • Verify processing paperwork has been completed correctly and tracked according to CPP procedures.
  • Document and report non-conforming material or paperwork found during inspections.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding core-related issues on a weekly basis.
  • Perform visual inspections and monitor SPC of cores as needed.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in inspection, preferably in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with ceramic cores and quality control procedures.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in math concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
