Job Description

At GeoStabilization International, LLC., we are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team in our Denver Office. As a Payroll Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee time sheets and ensure accurate payroll processing
  • Research prevailing wage rates for each job depending on funding source, state, county, and locality
  • Work closely with the Project Management team to ensure certified payrolls are accurate and completed on time
  • Manage job wage information and ensure compliance with district and county policies, state and federal regulations
  • Assist with weekly employee time sheets and ensure accurate payroll production
  • Manage employees' retirement accounts, including 401K and Roth
  • Help with managing yearly reports, including W2s for each employee in each state worked

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator, or similar role with 3+ years of experience
  • Deep knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax regulations
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software
  • Familiarity with Excel and spreadsheets
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • The ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Computer knowledge, including Viewpoint and Internet applications
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and type effectively
  • Proficient in English; other languages helpful
  • Strong math skills required

Education

  • High School Diploma required
  • BSc in Human Resources Management, Accounting, or relevant field; administrative experience preferred
