Role Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering exceptional, patient-focused care and overseeing all operations within the unit during their shift. Working closely with the management team, the CNC will:

  • Facilitate patient admissions and discharges to optimize care delivery.
  • Engage in continuous evaluation of care quality in collaboration with management.
  • Foster teamwork among staff to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Promote a patient-centered philosophy and manage service recovery as needed.
  • Implement nursing strategies to improve staff engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new nursing staff.
  • Manage staff scheduling in alignment with patient care needs.
  • Oversee inventory management and supply procurement.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 60 days of hire.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Current Registered Nurse license.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
