Neonatology Opportunity in Macon, Georgia
  • Clinical Responsibilities:
    • Work at the only dedicated pediatric facility in Central and South Georgia.
    • Enjoy a balanced schedule of 26 weeks per year, with one week on and one week off, including daily rounds and on-call duties from home every other night.
    • Join a practice featuring a 66-bed, state-of-the-art Level-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
    • Provide advanced services such as high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and brain cooling.
    • Access to readily available subspecialty support.
    • Benefit from exceptional coverage provided by experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs).
    • Hold a clinical appointment at Mercer Medical School.
    • Work at a designated Level-I trauma center and one of six regional perinatal/neonatal centers in Georgia.
    • Be part of a newly opened 50,000 square foot neonatal intensive care unit.
    • Note: Locum candidates and visa applicants are not accepted.
    • Board eligibility (within 5 years) or board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine is required.
    • A Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain) is mandatory.
