Neonatology Opportunity in Macon, Georgia
  • Clinical Responsibilities:
    • Join the only dedicated pediatric facility in central and South Georgia.
    • Work schedule includes 26 weeks annually - alternating weeks on and off, with daily rounds and on-call duties from home every other night.
    • Our facility features a 66-bed, advanced Level-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
    • Services offered include high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and brain cooling techniques.
    • Access to a wide range of subspecialty support.
    • Experienced Nurse Practitioners provide exceptional coverage.
    • Clinical affiliation with Mercer Medical School.
    • Designated as a Level-I trauma center and one of six perinatal/neonatal regional centers in Georgia.
    • Recently opened a new 50,000 square foot NICU.
    • We are not considering Locum candidates.
    • Visa sponsorship is not available.
    • Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine is required.
    • Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain) is mandatory.
