  • Clinical Responsibilities:
    • Join the only dedicated pediatric hospital serving central and South Georgia.
    • Work schedule includes 26 weeks annually - alternating one week on and one week off, with daily rounds and on-call duties from home every other night.
    • Our facility features a 66-bed, state-of-the-art Level-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
    • We offer advanced services such as high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and brain cooling techniques.
    • Subspecialty support is readily available to enhance patient care.
    • Benefit from exceptional coverage provided by experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs).
    • Clinical affiliation with Mercer Medical School is included.
    • Recognized as a Level-I trauma center and one of six designated perinatal/neonatal regional centers in Georgia.
    • Recently opened a new 50,000 square foot NICU.
    • Not accepting Locum tenens or visa candidates.
    • Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine is mandatory.
    • Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain) is required.
