Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Pharmacy Technician and Community Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships with patients, healthcare staff, and pharmacy teams to foster a collaborative environment.
- Participating in team meetings to discuss patient care and implement feedback for continuous improvement.
- Educating patients about available services and how to maximize their benefits from our pharmacy offerings.
- Coordinating the collection of prescriptions and necessary documentation to facilitate timely medication dispensing.
- Conducting follow-up calls with patients post-discharge to ensure adherence to aftercare plans.
- Identifying and addressing barriers to care, including assisting with insurance and financial inquiries.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- An active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License or Certification in your state.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills:
We value candidates who bring additional strengths, such as:
- Experience in behavioral or mental health environments.
- Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
