Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydro Blast Technician to join our team. As a Hydro Blast Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of the whole body.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Set-Up Cleaning Equipment: Operate and set-up all necessary cleaning equipment, including high-pressure pumps, in-service line hydro-blasting, and vacuum, in accordance with operational and training guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to Safety Policies: Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear.
  • Work Safely in Industrial Settings: Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial settings.
  • Manually Clean and Repair Equipment: Manually clean, install, fit, repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment on tanks.
  • Inspect Equipment and Work Area: Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area prior to starting any job. Inform supervisor of deficiencies that may cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity.
Requirements
  • Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC): TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card) preferred.
  • Verbal and Written Instructions: Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic Safety Training Skills: Basic Safety Training Skills.
  • Hydro Blasting Experience: Hydro blasting or pressure cleaning experience preferred, but not required. We will train.
  • General Labor Experience: General labor experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Ability: Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
  • Lifting Ability: Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Standing and Walking Ability: Physically capable to stand and/or walk continuously for long periods of time if necessary.
  • Climbing and Balance Ability: Physically capable to climb, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously.
