About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Prepared Food Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our food preparation team, you will be responsible for preparing fresh food items daily, following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare food according to item specifications, adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, and communicate effectively with the team.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, assist customers according to company policies and procedures, and maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products.
  • Adaptability: Be comfortable with change and quickly adapt to different work scenarios, leveraging digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Food Service experience preferred
  • Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification preferred
