About the Role

Banco Sabadell, Miami Branch is seeking a highly skilled Credit Administrator Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Credit Administration department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the bank's credit documentation process is accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Credit Administration Supervisor in managing the credit documentation process, ensuring adherence to all existing regulations on risk and risk transactions.
  • Prepare complete credit documentation for loans approved by the credit committee and/or Head Office, and send documentation to customers for execution.
  • Monitor expiration of credit documents, track and administer syndicated credit transactions, and maintain close contact with agent banks.
  • Assist the Credit Administration Supervisor with risk control and evaluation procedures and systems, including the implementation of any of the bank's credit-related proprietary systems.
  • Perform the loan administration function, including booking of loans, tracking maturities, overdrafts, payments, amendments, etc.
  • Administer, control, and monitor all collateral held for credit facilities, ensuring collateral has been received, properly documented, and blocked on the branch's systems.
Requirements
  • An Associate's degree or a four-year degree (B.A, B.S.), or equivalent.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal customers.
  • Ability to speak, write, and read English and Spanish fluently.
