Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Banking Specialist III to join our team at Amerant Bank. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Research and resolve issues related to end-of-day banking center balancing and maintain a high level of operational excellence.
  • Provide education and knowledge of consumer and small business products to existing and new customers, promoting cross-selling opportunities and driving revenue growth.
  • Act as a customer advocate, resolving problems and ensuring customer expectations are met, while delivering a quality customer experience every day.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals, consistently acquiring, retaining, and expanding new and existing customer relationships through proactive sales and service efforts.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in a bank sales and service environment or equivalent experience, with a proven track record of sales results.
  • Basic report writing ability, organizational skills, and telephone skills.
  • Previous experience with Outlook, Internet, and MS Office, including MS Word Advanced, MS Excel Advanced, and MS PowerPoint Level II.
  • NMLS registration and FBI Criminal Background and credit checks must be successfully passed within the first 30 days of employment.
