Key Responsibilities- Perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures, including portable x-rays and EKG exams, in various settings.
- Collect and verify patient information and order documentation prior to procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
- Operate portable radiologic equipment and determine exposure factors based on patient needs.
- Process and transmit images in a timely manner, adhering to company protocols.
- Complete records and reports, and maintain equipment in good working order.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up and down stairs easily.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
