The Seasonal Tick and Mosquito Pest Control Technician is responsible for delivering pest management solutions for trees, shrubs, and lawns to both residential and commercial clients. This role requires a proactive approach to addressing customer pest concerns in a courteous and professional manner. Technicians are expected to provide insightful feedback to clients, recommend additional services when suitable, and strive to surpass client expectations while adhering to company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently organize and manage daily routes.
- Exhibit expertise in relevant areas while following company protocols.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of documentation.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues, clients, and management.
- Safely operate and uphold the company vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Possession of a valid driver's license in accordance with company standards.
- No driving under the influence violations in the past three years.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of three years of driving experience to operate a company vehicle.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Familiarity with the pest control sector, including products and treatment methods, is advantageous.
- Ability to utilize necessary personal protective equipment.
- Capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- A passion for outdoor work is essential.
