Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dining Utility Aide to join our team at Phoebe Ministries. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize pots and pans in the main kitchen, received from transports of pantry kitchens.
  • Responsible to wash dishes as needed in the main dish room.
  • Maintain trash removal and general floor care of the main kitchen and adjacent areas.
  • Perform daily/weekly cleaning assignments as defined on cleaning system guidelines.
  • Receive and properly store all deliveries of food and supplies to assigned storage areas per regulatory standards.
  • Assist the Chef de Cuisine to support Resident meal service periods, as requested, to deliver menu product to serving pantries as needed.
  • Support café opening and closing procedures as requested per Chef de Cuisine.
  • Support Resident meal service as a runner when requested.
  • Clean/sweep/scrub/mop main kitchen floors per assigned job flow and shift.
  • Receive vendor deliveries/put away stock per stated policy utilizing dating and rotational techniques.
Requirements
  • The ability to deliver excellent customer service to all residents, families, and co-workers.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
