About This Hospice Aide (CNA) Position

HopeHealth Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking an experienced CNA to join its dynamic and caring hospice team.

This position will provide care to hospice patients at our inpatient Hulitar Hospice Center.

The duties of a hospice aide are planned and assigned by a registered nurse to meet patient and family needs.

As a Hospice Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide personal care, observe, report, and document patient status and the care provided, provide support to patient, family, and caregivers through on-going communication, follow basic infection control procedures, recognize and report changes in patient's status to IPU RN, recognize emergencies and have the knowledge of emergency procedures and their application, and maintain patient and family confidentiality.

Education / Experience to be a CNA:

Certified Nurse Aide certification, High School Diploma or GED, 1-3 years of experience required.
