Job Summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced Unit Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Unit Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the daily operations of a specific shift on a clinical unit. You will supervise staff, facilitate communication with physicians and internal administrators, and provide optimal patient and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct the daily operations of a specific shift on a clinical unit.
  • Supervise staff and facilitate communication with physicians and internal administrators.
  • Provide optimal patient and family-centered care.
  • Lead efforts to strengthen organizational systems that support the mission, vision, and values of the department.
  • Collaborate with others to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Two years experience as an RN with a minimum of two years of experience in the area of concentration.
  • Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
  • Certification preferred.
  • BLS required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
