Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Work Schedule: 4x 12-hour shifts per week
Job Overview:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with established protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Develop and oversee patient care strategies.
- Facilitate collaboration among multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Evaluate and manage patient discharge processes.
- Required experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Balloon Pumps, and Pulmonary Artery Catheters.
- Willingness to mentor junior staff as necessary.
Certifications Required: Registered Nurse (Compact), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Position Requirements: - Rotating weekends, with no more than every other weekend required, and occasional holiday shifts. 4x 12-hour shifts weekly.
Nurse-Patient Ratios: Typical ratios are 1:2, with occasional 1:1 based on patient acuity, and rare 1:3 under specific staffing conditions.
