The SAP Electric Operations Work Management Delivery team provides IT services tailored to the Electric sector, emphasizing strategic technology planning, solution architecture, and ongoing support.
Position Summary
The role of IT SAP Functional Analyst PowerPlan is centered around the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of PowerPlan modules to deliver effective system solutions for both the Line of Business and IT departments. This position is pivotal in evaluating business needs, developing functional design documents, and ensuring robust PowerPlan system solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish standard procedures within PowerPlan and facilitate adaptation in Finance and Tax domains.
- Examine comprehensive business processes within PowerPlan.
- Identify IT solutions for intricate cross-departmental business challenges utilizing ERP functionalities.
- Enhance and automate the PowerPlan system.
- Align business needs with SAP S4 system capabilities and configure accordingly.
- Conduct PowerPlan configuration and testing activities.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Information Technology.
- At least 8 years of experience as a Functional Analyst specializing in the PowerPlan system.
- Proficient in CR, PM, Asset/ARO, and Depr modules along with their data flows.
- Experience in project creation, estimation, and approval processes.
- Understanding of SAP, S4HANA ERP, and the distinctions between GAAP and FERC Accounting Concepts.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively.
