As a vital member of the healthcare team, the Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse (NICU RN) is responsible for delivering exceptional care to critically ill and premature infants.

Shift Details:
19:00 - 07:30 Hours, Monday to Friday (3 Days/12 Hours)
Weekly Commitment:
36 Hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Administering comprehensive care to newborns requiring intensive medical attention.
- Addressing the fundamental needs of infants, including feeding and hygiene.
- Executing medical interventions such as intravenous line placements, diagnostic testing, and medication administration.
- Supporting NICU physicians during various medical procedures and treatments.
- Utilizing and calibrating specialized medical apparatus effectively.
- Developing nursing care plans and assessing the success of implemented treatments.
- Providing emotional support to distressed newborns and their families.
- Educating parents and family members on post-discharge care for their infants.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nursing License.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an ICU or NICU setting.
- CPR Certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide emotional support to families and guardians.
- Familiarity with NICU-specific medical equipment.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Compassionate care for ill infants.
Required Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
