Position Requirements:

We are seeking a sanitation specialist to become part of our team in the Manteca, CA area. This is a Full-Time position with hourly pay, eligible for health benefits and additional perks.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in sanitation or housekeeping is preferred.
  • Proven excellence in customer relations and interpersonal communication.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and innovative thinking.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Responding promptly and professionally to all requests.
  • Cleaning the leasing office, clubhouse, common-area restrooms, models, amenities, and vacant units daily or as directed.
  • Monitoring the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet waste, ensuring all common areas and amenities are tidy.
  • Assisting in the make-ready process by undertaking additional tasks as requested by the Community Manager.
  • Maintaining an adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and notifying the Community Manager when reordering is necessary.
  • Keeping work areas, supply carts, and storage spaces organized and tidy.

Records and Safety Management:

  • Completing documentation and paperwork accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking of service requests.
  • Adhering to safety program rules, attending safety meetings, and performing all duties safely.
  • Remaining compliant with safety training, including OSHA standards.
  • Participating in educational programs provided by ConAm.
  • Identifying and reporting unsafe working conditions or health and safety concerns.
  • Timely reporting of community damage, property loss, leaks, mold, injuries, and any incidents.

Customer Service:

  • Building rapport with residents through positive and professional interactions.
  • Exhibiting customer service skills by treating residents and others with respect.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.
