Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our medical team at Hopper Consulting and Staffing LLC.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and PET scans to assist in the diagnostic evaluation of patients.

This is a contract opportunity that will have the technologist travel between offices in the area. No call and no weekends required.

Education/Experience

Graduated from accredited Nuclear Medicine program; ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT), CPR required. Three to five years of experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct nuclear medicine procedures and PET scans following established protocols
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals using aseptic technique
  • Operate imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret scan results
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
  • Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards during procedures
Skills
  • Proficiency in nuclear medicine techniques and procedures
  • Experience with PET scans and other medical imaging technologies
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes
  • Ability to maintain a sterile environment using aseptic techniques
Job Type:

Full-time

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
