Position Summary

The Service Advisor plays a crucial role in managing service appointments and recommending essential services to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate service bookings and gather necessary customer and vehicle information prior to their arrival.
  • Welcome customers promptly and courteously.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor and parts, establishing a clear timeline for service completion.
  • Monitor the status of repairs throughout the day, communicating any changes in estimates or timelines to customers, and securing authorization for additional work as needed.
  • Conduct test drives or liaise with technicians as required.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, striving to meet or exceed manufacturer standards.
  • Educate customers on vehicle maintenance and the importance of adhering to manufacturer specifications.
  • Achieve dealership standards for productivity in service orders.
  • Comply with all relevant regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal and safety protocols.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and report any incidents to management immediately.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions effectively.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a dealership environment.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics.
  • ASE certification is a plus.
  • Sales experience is advantageous.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Commitment to safety in all job functions.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment assessments, including background checks and drug tests.
