Senior Research Associate, Liver Disease Researcher

Takeda Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Associate to join our Liver Disease Research team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing in vitro studies relevant to fibroinflammatory liver disease biology and pharmacology.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute relevant target and drug candidate validation studies using contemporary methods and tools.
- Determine mechanism of action for drug targets and candidates with appropriate controls.
- Implement target-specific assays to assess target and drug activity in vitro and/or in vivo, as appropriate.
- Participate on cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership in area of expertise.
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses in written and/or oral form.
- Proactively identify complex obstacles to progress in specific areas and recommend solutions.
- Manage a wide variety of tasks, techniques, and projects, and integrate these responsibilities to produce quality results with a high level of efficiency.
- MS in a scientific discipline (or equivalent) with 1+ years relevant experience, or BS with 3+ years relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative, focused, and fast-paced research team.
- Significant experience with cell culture, including immortalized cell lines, primary cell cultures, and/or multicellular or organoid culture models.
- Expertise in at least one of the following assay methods: ELISA, Western blot, qPCR, flow cytometry, ChIP.
- Expert knowledge of applicable lab equipment.
- Good organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Takeda Pharmaceuticals offers a competitive salary range of $84,000.00 to $132,000.00, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits.
