Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team at KYOCERA Document Solutions New England, Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering office equipment to customers within the New England Region, ensuring timely and efficient service.


Key Responsibilities

• Deliver office equipment to customers within the designated region
• Maintain a clean and organized truck, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available
• Load and unload heavy office machines, utilizing proper lifting techniques to prevent injury
• Operate a lift truck and stair climber as needed, adhering to safety protocols
• Track and assist with inventory management, ensuring accurate counts and timely reporting
• Organize and clean the warehouse as needed, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
• Collapse boxes and empty trash daily, adhering to company standards for cleanliness and organization
• Unbox and assemble new equipment, ensuring proper installation and functionality
• Package and ship supplies or parts via UPS terminal, meeting deadlines and quality standards
• Participate in online training and company-required programs, staying up-to-date on industry best practices and company policies


Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Valid driver's license and DOT physical & DOT Medical Card
• One year of prior related experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to apply practical understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Ability to work independently, be proactive, and be safety conscious
• Customer-focused, patient, and flexible when things don't go according to plan
