Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Core-Mark. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing orders from request to delivery, ensuring a safe and efficient transportation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage orders from request to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Support the transportation team by improving production processes and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining documents, managing incoming calls, generating reports, and supporting other functions to guarantee exceptional service and quality for Core-Mark customers.
  • Audit and reconcile fuel and credit card purchases.
  • Collect and complete daily driver remittances.
  • Prepare route envelopes and wave sheets for the afternoon and evening dispatch.
  • Compile weekly/monthly reports as requested by transportation management.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED) certificate, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of basic computer software and Omni Tracks.
  • Ability to operate various office equipment, such as a computer, copy machine, calculator (10-Key), and phone system.
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism when dealing with colleagues, business contacts, and customers.
  • Task-oriented and focused on goal achievement.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and check/correct own work.
