Job Description

**Job Summary**

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming goods, as well as coordinating the shipment of outgoing merchandise. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Process and verify inventory transactions, including purchase orders and warehouse transfers.
  • Coordinate the shipment of outgoing merchandise, including packing and arranging for pickup.
  • Verify materials received are as ordered and route incoming items to the appropriate departments or locations.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, and report any hazards to the Safety and Maintenance Department.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate workflow and ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience with forklift operation and safety procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, such as Epicor.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
