Job Description

**Job Summary**

The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and shipping processes. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming goods, as well as coordinating the shipment of outgoing merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily inventory transactions, including purchase order receiving, warehouse transfers, and parts order invoicing.
  • Inspect all received goods for quality, damage, and accuracy of shipment.
  • Coordinate the shipment of replacement parts, including packing, completing associated paperwork, and arranging for pickup.
  • Verify that received materials match ordered items and route them to the appropriate departments or locations.
  • Load finished products onto flatbeds using forklifts and complete associated paperwork.
  • Utilize our ERP system, Epicor, to book freight and track orders and inventory.
  • Operate forklifts safely and report any hazards to the Safety and Maintenance Department.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate workflow.
  • Assist other team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience with forklift operation.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
