Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling Appointments: Schedule referral appointments for Initial Evaluation and follow-up visits, reschedule, and cancel appointments as necessary.
  • Referral Management: Sort and prioritize incoming referrals and eFaxes, ensuring timely scheduling of appointments within 24-48 hours.
  • Patient Communication: Handle inbound call volume, place outbound calls, and communicate with patients to schedule appointments and provide information about their care.
  • Insurance and Authorization: Understand insurance benefits and authorizations, and obtain prior authorization as required.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize problem-solving methodologies to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure seamless patient care.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team to ensure efficient scheduling and patient flow.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least two years of relevant work experience, with skills necessary for the position.
  • Language: Bi-lingual preferred.
Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing, sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. You will also need to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
