Job Summary

The Scheduling/Staffing Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the operations of Agape Hospice by managing all aspects of the staffing process and workflow. This position requires establishing and maintaining positive relationships with internal staff, clinical field employees, contract staff, patients, families, referral sources, and other related entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to inbound phone calls and maintain information on current staff and contract staff demographic information, skill sets, availability, and productivity levels.
  • Assist the Intake department by providing staffing solutions to new patient referrals.
  • Complete workflow associated with staff requests for scheduling changes, caseload reassignments, recertification of services, new referral scheduling, missed visit, visit time exceptions, and visit time change requests.
  • Support clinical leadership by maintaining daily workflow tasks and communicating effectively with staff regarding coordination of care expectations.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current staff and contract staff.
  • Provide insight to identify needs for additional staff and maintain comprehensive working knowledge of contractual staff relationships.
  • May be required to provide on-call services on weeknights and weekends.
  • Serve as an administrative support resource for all clinical and marketing staff.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Medicare regulatory requirements.
