Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately record patient demographics, insurance, and billing information
  • Process telephone calls in accordance with established protocols
  • Perform real-time eligibility for insurance benefits
  • Maintain department-specific files, programs, and recall systems
  • Schedule patient appointments and reconcile daily schedules with appointment reports
  • Collect payments on outstanding balances whenever possible
  • Actively participate in achieving organizational and department goals
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of clerical support experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Basic medical terminology and customer service skills required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The schedule may vary based on business needs.
